A Little Gal With A Big Name And Bigger Personality

Introducing our latest Babe Of The Month, Miss Sara Dorothea Rose Biggs, whose name is as large as her personality. Sara is a special babe for us, as she reached out to us with professional photos by her friend Drew Claxton, asking to be the December BOTM. December is Sara’s birth month so we were happy to oblige and bring her a birthday wish come true!

All photos by Drew Claxton at Misfits Speed Shop, Mooresville, North Carolina.

Not just another pretty face, Sara knows how to rock and she wears it well.

Before you judge Sara as just another pretty face, let us warn you that she is lethal in the garage and knows her way around a tool chest. Her goal is to become a serious welding fabricator, so maybe we can get some photos of her with a lit torch in the near future.

Sara is not your typical millennial either. Driven to achieve whatever goals she sets, Miss Biggs raises the level of her game along with bringing up everyone around her. From personal experience, we can tell you to follow through on any promises you make with Sara. This badass will hold you to it.

Sara's goals include working with metal, and by the looks of it, she knows how to beat panels.

Getting To Know Sara Biggs

Name: Sara Dorothea Rose Biggs. My mom, Christine, decided to give me two middle names because she wanted to name me after both of my grandmothers. My paternal grandmother’s name is Dorothy, but my mom thought that was too old-fashioned and doctored it up a bit. My maternal grandmother’s name is Rose.

Hometown: I grew up in Pontiac, Michigan.

Hair and Eyes: My natural hair color is red and have brown eyes.

Height: 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Ethnicity: Caucasian with 25 percent Mexican from my mom’s side.

If you could have only one super power, what would it be? If I had a super power it would be to be able to go back in time. To be able to talk to the loved ones I’ve lost. To be able to see their smile again and to be able to cherish the things that I had taken for granted.

Occupation: I am a student at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Career goals: I plan to graduate from NASCAR Tech in January, 2016, then to attend Lincoln Electric Welding school to become a certified welder, and begin a career as a welder. I don’t know if the pinup modeling will ever move forward for me, but if it does it will be a great experience to do something I would have never thought I could do.

Likes: Tattoos (I have 14). I like all sorts of music from heavy metal to country. From rap to oldies. I love my doggies. I have three at home. A German Shepherd, a Pit Bull mix and a Chihuahua. I also have three in my hometown with my parents. I scream songs by Asking Alexandria and Slipknot while driving in the truck with my boyfriend — he thinks I’m a rock star.

Dislikes: I dislike when people judge other people with tattoos.

Hobbies: I love going to antique stores and pawn shops.

How did you get involved in hot rodding? My photography friend, Drew Claxton, has a friend who owns Misfits Speed Shop in downtown Mooresville. That friend has rat rods and I offered to model for some shots.

What you want out of life (in 10 words or less)? To experience great adventures, to not regret, to love greatly.

Who do you look up to in life? I look up to my dad, Bryan, who gave me my first set of tools when I was 12 years old. He’s been a hard worker for as long as I can remember. Also, my mom. She taught me how to love and how to forgive – they are my rock.

What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you? I was born with a hole in my heart, which closed naturally by itself. When I was younger, that ailment developed into a heart condition called Mitral Valve Prolapse. This caused me to have really low blood pressure, to the point where my doctors didn’t even know how I was walking, but I felt fine. I would have fainting spells all the time. My doctors put me on a steroid for a month, and that raised my blood pressure. Eventually my valve will need to be replaced, but until that, I’m going to continue being a badass.

Favorite vacation taken so far: This past Fourth of July weekend, my boyfriend Codey and I, along with our three dogs, went camping in eastern North Carolina in a tent. It was nice when we got there. We went hiking for four miles in the mountains with our dogs and it starts pouring rain!

It sucked, but it was fun because we were soaked, muddy, and we made a good time out of it. Our doggies loved it. That night our tent flooded and that wasn’t so much fun, but it was an awesome experience with my little family.

Dream vacation: Rio de Janeiro

Typical weekend: Random drives with my boyfriend, shopping, and exploring.

One thing you can’t live without: My family. They have been major support in all of my decisions. I have two older sisters that I’ve learned a tremendous amount from.

Describe yourself in three words: Sassy, unpretentious, unpredictable.

Dream car: Chrome-colored Fisker Karma.

Facts: I grew up as a shy girl. When I moved out on my own after high school, I found myself, and who I am as a person. I have three nephews and a niece that I miss so much. I’m the girl who laughs at her own jokes. I’m also the girl who likes getting dirty, but also likes getting her nails done and wears pretty dresses.

I like to express myself through my hair, in color or style. I was born on December 13, 1995. I drive a Monte Carlo 5.3 liter V8. I worked in a shop for a year and a half as a general service technician. One of my instructors at NASCAR Tech told me about Rod Authority and the babe of the month — and I got in contact with them through the Facebook fan page.
