SEMA 2011: Sickness In Seattle With a ’67 572 Big Block Chevelle SS

[1]One of the most eye catching cars featured in the front of the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 2011 SEMA tradeshow was a 1967 Chevelle SS that was fully customized from bumper to bumper. Called “The Sickness” by car owner Frank Duval, the car was customized by Derek Hall in his three car garage shop in Seattle. To us, it was totally “Sickness in Seattle”.

We had the opportunity to talk with builder Derek Hall about the build and he gave us the full details on the combo:

According to Hall, the naturally aspirated 572 BBC makes 620 hp and is very well behaved on the street. We could spends several paragraphs talking about the mirror like paint or the clean look of the shaved body, but as we have often said, a picture is worth a thousand words.
