Fans have asked about it, and Master Power Brakes has responded. The Brake-Fest Car Show is coming back this October 1, 2016, and will be filled with music, food, prizes, and some amazing cars and trucks. Brake-Fest takes place at Master Power’s home office in Mooresville, North Carolina, and will start at 9am.
Brake-Fest will have plenty of vendors on hand, as well as some great displays of cool cars. A special guest this year will be IHRA Pro-Mod Champion Dina Parise, who will bring along her 3000 horsepower Cadillac, which she has named Stella.
Streets will be blocked off, and hundreds of vehicles of all makes and models are expected to show up. From a recent press release: “Several local automotive shops/businesses such as DC Classic Cars East, Quarter Mile Muscle, Our Dream, Creations by Gemza, NASCAR TECH, PIT, Rimz One, Steve White Motors, SRI Performance, Xtreme Truck and Freeman’s Car Stereo will also be setting up displays with some awesome vehicles showing off their work.”
The show is open to all makes and models, with a $20 registration fee per vehicle. The first 50 vehicles will get the ever-so-popular goody bag, and parking is going to be on a first come/first parked basis. Proceeds from the show will benefit Classroom Central and Martin Truex Jr. Foundation charities. If you’re planning to attend, registration is open now, and if you won’t be able to attend, there will be a photographer there to supply us with photos so we can cover the event virtually for you.
The top 15 cars will be judged by participant voting, plus two additional charity picks, with all winners receiving a show trophy. You can find out more information about the event at the event website, and of course you can follow along at the Brake-Fest Car Show Facebook page.
