With all sorts of speculation and a series of timed-release videos, the anticipation of the car that Dodge says will make the Hellcat look weak has possibly been leaked, and we have the picture here.

One of our sources told us that the car is so amazing, that it’s going to really shake things up and change the way everyone looks at Dodge. With Tim Kuniskis making comments about people knowing that “a tenth is a car length and a second is your reputation,” it seems certain that Dodge doesn’t care about anything but being stupid fast with more power than any other musclecar ever produced – including its own Hellcat.

One viewer noted that the wheels look rather small, and they do. It’s hard to tell in this image, however, what size they could be.

Shared across Instragram, we captured a picture of the car that we’re told is the new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. With the flares, the five spoke deep-dish wheel in the rear, and a massive hood scoop, it leaves us to believe that someone, somewhere wanted this car to be seen.

Looking at the wheels on the leaked image, one reader noted they look smaller than the 20-inch found on the Hellcat, and they look a bit different as well. We looked at the gif image from the website, and the image found at the bottom of this page and sized them up, and the gif appears to be a little deeper. Also, the image at the bottom shows a what appears to be a Nitto NT05R Drag Radial. Knowing what we’ve been told about a 315 wide tire and the only options are 35 and 40 series tires (low profile), the tire on the left (above) doesn’t appear to be low profile like the tire on the right. We’ll let you draw your own conclusions on that one.

We kept the Instagram account hidden so as not to create any unwanted contact, but after showing the picture to one of our sources, the comment came back, simply, “That’s it.”

The cars from Fast 8, which is slated to be released the same time as the new Challenger SRT Demon. Coincidence?

So could this be the car that is once again going to make history and have the Ford and Chevy boys scrambling for ways to trash the car and call it names like “boat anchor” or “fat cat”? Only time will tell, but whether you love or hate the Dodge boys right now, there’s one thing that we all need to collectively agree on: It’s a damn good time to be alive and witness the musclecar wars firsthand, up close and personal.
