The Dodge Demon sparked a lot of controversy back in the early 70s, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t a sick car. Still to this day the Demon is a fine piece of muscle car artwork and performance, especially when it’s like this ’71 we found on Pro-Touring.com. Owned by Jason Hubar of G-Force Design Concepts, this bad boy wears the Demon name proud and was even featured in Popular Hot Rodding. Lucky for you, it’s also for sale.
This particular example of the “devil car” listed on eBay is not just your run of the mill Demon. After a full restoration, the car was treated to a new Reilly Motorsports and AirRide suspension setup, a Wilwood brake system, bullet-proof rear end with 3.55 gears, and a 5-speed Tremec TKO transmission.
The Demon retains a stock HEMI 6.1L engine but utilizes the AEM Engine Management System, which can be paired with a supercharger or turbocharger system.
The interior of the Demon was completely redone in cloth and leather, and the seats now sport the G-Force Design Concepts logo. All gauges were replaced with AutoMeter Sport Comp 2 units and a full street cage was added to give the car modern amenities for the track. To give the Demon a classic muscle look, it was finished in the original Mopar Sublime Green color with a black hood and put atop 18-inch Complete Custom Wheels.
Although the Demon was listed for a price well under what it would cost to build a car just like it, the Demon did not sell, with the highest bid only reaching $35,100. The ‘Buy it Now’ price was set at $47,500 after being reduced with two days left on the lot. Even though the eBay auction for the Demon ended several days ago, you can still contact the seller about purchasing the car.
