Hot Rods and more highlight 2nd annual Classic Auto Show

The Doane SPencer Roadster, Pierson Brothers 2D coupe and the So-Cal Speed Shop Belly Tank from the Bruce Meyer collection are among hot rods to be shown in the ‘Hot Rod display’ at the second annual Classic Auto Show, held March 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.

The themed display is set to be shown throughout the event in addition to displays dedicated to “Women n’ Wheels,” Porsche, Citroën, Lowriders, classic Japanese vehicles, and vintage off-road vehicles.

“These new displays will truly speak to the passions of true enthusiasts,” said Michael Carlucci, senior vice president at LeftField Media, the show’s producer. “There will be something for everyone – from the brass era to modern exotics and everything in between.”

The shows “Women ‘n Wheels” display will be highlighted with appearances by motorsports legend Lyn. St. James, AskPatty CEO Jody DeVere, All Girls Garage crew Bogi Lateiner and Rachel DeBarros. The exhibits special cars include Bogi Lateiner’s SEMA “Chevy Montage” all-female build; and “Grease Girl” Kristin Cline, who will also work on her ’60 Ford Falcon in front of a live audience.

Jay Leno of Jay Leno’s Garage will also make an appearance at the show in addition to Chip Foose from Overhaulin’, Dave Kindig from Bitchin’ Rides, and Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars among others.

Additionally, over 65 prominent southern California car clubs will be present, including the Sultans Car Club of Long Beach, Wild Bunch Car Club, Hot Paint Restorations, Road Kings of Burbank, Imperial Car Club and the “Oldskoolerz.”

Tickets for the 2018 Classic Auto Show are $20 or $30 at the box office.
