With summer in full swing, everyone is looking for an excuse to enjoy the warm weather. There are countless ways to do so, but as gear heads, we can only think of one – a droptop! Going through the classifieds and internet auctions will offer you countless opportunities for roofless summer cruising, and if it’s a muscle car, then all the better.

Since we’re stuck behind a computer for the better part of the day, we jumped on eBay [2] to see what we could find. There were seemingly a countless number of Chevelles, F-bodies, and Mustangs up for grabs, but we wanted something a little unique. Then we saw this Olds, and fell in love. Let’s be honest, what’s not to like about it?

Everything from it’s low-mileage and only two previous owners, to its impeccable, flawless restoration, we’re having a hard time not wanting to bid on it. Every inch of this car is flawless, inside and out, top to bottom. We honestly believe it to be cleaner than it was when it left the Lansing, Michigan plant forty-four years ago.

Every detail on this Olds is impeccable.

The color combination is Nocturne Blue Metallic over White Parchment vinyl interior with matching stripes and top. Under the hood you’ll find the 400ci. Olds, meticulously restored, and built to the tune of 405hp and 467 ft-lbs. of torque with a dyno sheet to back up the claims. The seller claims the car runs drives, and idles perfectly, and every nut and bolt has been restored to perfection.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on your bank account), the seller Red Hills Rods and Choppers, is offering this classic piece of American history at a reserve price of $95,000. Obviously it isn’t cheap, but if we had the funds it would be difficult to pass on.
