Get A Hydraulic Clutch System For Your 1st Gen Mustang

Do you own a classic first-generation Mustang? Do you enjoy driving it, but are turned off by the factory clutch system? American Powertrain has just announced this hydraulic clutch system for your first-generation Mustang to help cure the problematic OEM unit.

Official Release:

New HYDRAMAX Hydraulic Clutch System For First-Gen Mustangs

The tight tolerances of the 1965-66 Mustang along with an intrusive brake master or booster give first gen owners fits when fitting a master cylinder for hydraulic clutch applications. Now, hydraulic clutch specialist American Powertrain has a purely bolt-in answer in their new HYDRAMAX system for early Mustangs.

The new system features a billet aluminum firewall mount that looks great and is perfectly contoured to achieve the correct angle for the clutch rod and a great firewall fit with or without power brakes.

Complete systems include American Powertrain’s new billet firewall mount with steel backing plate, the master cylinder with pedal rod and hardware, APT’s HYDRAMAX hydraulic release bearing, a reservoir kit, lines and fittings. Or, use your own slave with their master cylinder kit.

All HYDRAMAX products are made in the USA and are covered by American Powertrain’s 2-year warranty and exclusive Customer First 24-Hour tech support.

Features:

  • Bolt-in design, so installation is straightforward
  • Includes the master cylinder with pedal rod and hardware, APT’s HYDRAMAX hydraulic release bearing, a reservoir kit, lines and fittings
  • Billet aluminum firewall mount that looks great and is perfectly contoured to achieve the correct angle for the clutch rod and a great firewall fit with or without power brakes
