Southern Performance Systems offers 23 different complete and direct fit LS Conversion Packages for Chevrolet, Buick and Pontiac models. The LS Conversion Packages assist with the installation of a cooling system, fuel delivery system, engine and transmission mounting in the chassis and header installation.
“Years of experience in design and testing have allowed us to become the leader in LS conversions,” said John Tucker, Southern Performance Systems owner. “We offer the most complete and direct fit LS Conversion package on the market.”
All Southern Performance Systems packages include a direct bolt-in, American-made radiator designed exclusively for the LS engines along with two gallons of antifreeze, stainless steel overflow tank and billet radiator cap. For mounting the engine and transmission, all frame mounting brackets, LS engine adapters, nuts and bolts along with urethane motor and transmission mounts to install into the chassis are included. All engine and transmission brackets are powder coated. In most cases, the transmission mounts are adjustable and fit all current GM transmissions. Ceramic coated, full tube headers are provided for additional performance. These headers are designed to work with the engine-transmission mount kits. Southern Performance Systems also offers a direct bolt-in fuel tank with EFI pump built-in and fuel sender to work with specific applications. A fuel line hose system is provided that includes #6 AN braided fuel line, all of the correct #6 fittings and adapters, along with a fuel filter regulator to control fuel pressure.
