unnamed (56)

New from UMI Performance – the competition lower a-arms for GM G-body applications. These a-arms feature Delrin bushings to drastically improve the handling of your G-body. See more details below.

Official Release:

UMI Performance, Inc. is pleased to release our game changing, multi-featured lower a-arms as part of our complete line of competition G-body suspension. These arms feature a relocated ball joint cup which offers up to 10 degrees caster when used with our 3056 upper arm while keeping the spindle pin centered. The 1/2″ taller ball joint works to optimize the roll center, lower the center of gravity and lowers the ride height 1/2″. The double shear shock mount is removable which permits spring and shock changes at the track in minutes without disconnecting the ball joints.

An aluminum steering stop is adjustable and limits steering lock to prevent tire and wheel damage. Delrin™ bushings help the 3057 travel smoothly for bind-free operation whether running street, strip, road race or auto-x. Also included is a double shear mounting system which accepts UMI sway bars and many other manufacturers stock location aftermarket units. Available in UMI red or gloss black powder coat. 100% designed, manufactured and raced with pride in the USA. Battle tested on the cult favorite UMI Green Machine.

These packages are available with UMI/Afco monotube shocks (street/auto-x/road race) as well as Viking Warrior (street) and Viking Crusader (strip, auto-x, road race, corner carver street). UMI has selected the most popular spring rates and valve codes to suit our customers. Other spring rates and Crusader valve codes are available on a custom basis.

Features:

  • Delrin bushings for smooth motion and less friction
  • Adjustable steering stop
  • Relocated ball joint with 5 degrees of caster potential
