Now this is an awesome street-legal racecar build. The car is originally out of Florida, where back in the ‘70s was painted red with the words “Not a Chevy” plastered across the side. Now, it’s a dark green tone and in the process of being rebuilt into a badass street-legal hotrod.

It now belongs to Keith Jones of Riverton, Wyoming, where he wants to keep it lean and mean, but he also wants to take it out on the street. Keith has had the car for three years and plans on making it setup for both the street and the strip. It’s a lot more fun to drive the car to the track and then blow the doors off the competition, than it is to just show up in a trailer.

It’s powered by a 401 cubic-inch motor that’s been bored .60 over and built with aluminum heads, Scorpion roller-rockers, and a Mutha Thumpr camshaft. The build gets wild where Keith is using an Edelbrock tunnel-ram intake with a dual FiTech injection setup. He also is using a turbo-400 automatic transmission with a trans-brake and 3500 stall converter. The drivetrain is finished up with a Ford 9-inch rearend geared at 4.11:1 and using Strange axles and ladder bars.
