American Tri-Five To Invade Grand National Roadster Show

Tri-Five [1]Each year, there is a “small,” must-attend event on the West Coast – The Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS). Okay, maybe it’s not so small, since it’s known as the Granddaddy of them all. This three-day event hosts more than a thousand of the hottest custom cars from around the nation, and is attended by over 40,000 hardcore automotive enthusiasts.

Tri-Five [2]

This year, Danchuk [3] and the American Tri-Five Association [4] (ATFA) will be invading the GNRS, and taking over an area dedicated only to Tri-Fives. Both entities invite you to join them at one of the oldest and longest running indoor car shows in the world. If you do, you’ll be privy to a great time and atmosphere, while hanging out with like-minded enthusiasts.

If you plan to join in the Tri-Five festivities, there are some things of which you need to be aware. If you want to be part of the American Tri-Five grouping, you must be bringing a ’55 – ’57 Chevy, park in the outdoor, specified area, and follow all GNRS rules.

About The GNRS

Although the GNRS event is regulated under the International Show Car Association (ISCA) rules, the Tri-Five gathering will have it’s own awards program. You’ll find everything from custom cars to those that have received complete restorations. At the overall show, you’ll find race cars, trucks, hot rods, muscle cars, and even street machines. Unlike many other car shows, there are even categories for special interest items like tricycles, custom wagons, and pedal cars. That means there really is something for everyone.
