Do you as an enthusiast of drag racing and high horsepower vehicles ever get tired of seeing Mustangs and Camaros that seem to flood our daily lives? If so, then we have a treat for you today as we came across something you don’t see all that often — a turbocharged Ford Lightning truck. Now you may be quick to judge it if you’re not a Ford fan, but this one ranks just a bit differently than any other you may see roaming the streets of your hometown.

At first glance you may not even fathom the thought of this truck being a 900 horsepower street brawler, but that’s where you are wrong. Aside from the roll cage extending out the back and the cowl hood, the exterior remains quite subtle. Even the factory-style wheels have been retained, but take a closer look and you will see the rear wheels have been widened to 12-inches to fit the M&H Drag Radials. A big single turbo from Precision Turbo is combined with a Hogan intake and Brodix heads, providing this pickup the power to record high eight-second passes on C16 race gas and 600 on 93 octane and low boost.
