At the 2015 PRI Show, as they’ve done every year for the last several, Dart Machinery‘s Richard Maskin and Reher-Morrison Racing Engines‘ David Reher hosted an hour-long seminar. This year’s seminar was titled What’s NEXT, and some of the highlights can be found in this wrapup we did a short time ago. Dart has put together a video (seen above) that includes the entire seminar, complete with question-and-answer session and each of the presentations from both Maskin and Reher.

The seminar covered Maskin’s love of the LS engine, which is not lost on us as performance enthusiasts. As the last true OE pushrod-based engine, the performance capabilities of the LS are widely-recognized as providing the pinnacle of performance in today’s Chevy performance vehicles like the Corvette and Camaro. We’ve extensively covered the capabilities of Dart’s LS Next and LS Next 2 platforms over the last several years in a variety of projects, culminating in the use of the company’s billet LS Next 2 block in our own drag racing testbed, Project BlownZ.

In this video from the seminar, Maskin and Reher touch on some of the development challenges of providing the LS Next, the in-field evaluations that Reher is able to provide as the front-line expert on how the product performs in a multitude of situations, and more. It’s long (54 minutes) but is well worth the watch regardless of whether you’re an LS enthusiast or not.
