Video: Watch Every General Lee Jump From The Dukes of Hazzard

What’s better than seeing the General Lee Charger make one of its famous jumps in the original TV series The Dukes of Hazzard? How about watching dozens of the Charger’s jumps? That’s exactly what we have here, an 8-minute long video featuring almost every jump made by the General Lee in the first six episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard. Check it out above compliments of Neatorama [1].

[2] The video was compiled by Treva Graham back in 2007 and made its full appearance on YouTube back in 2010. Although the video is an oldie, it’s still a goodie and a wonderful tribute to the car that paved the way for so many other automotive-heavy productions.

While the video doesn’t have any of the jumps from the seventh season of the hit TV series (Graham posted on YouTube that his friend was borrowing the seventh season when he made the video), you get the full spectrum of General Lee jumps. From construction equipment, ravines and trains, to police cars, ponds and abandoned barns, this video has them all.

So if the work week is already going a bit slow, or you just need a good 2:30 pick-me-up, let this video play through a couple times. Chances are, you’ll see a good majority of the 250+ Chargers that were used in the filming of The Dukes of Hazzard and many of the jumps that resulted in immediate retirement of the cars due to the structural damages each major landing caused.
