When it comes to engine oil delivery, Milodon has been in the business for a long time. That’s why when they showed us a couple of new products they are bringing to market, we knew we needed to pay attention.
The first thing Ken Sink of Milodon told us was, “We’re really proud of our new two-piece billet oil pump for the big-block Chevy. The input shaft has a roller bearing support, and the regulator is adjustable.” Ken was happy to tell us that their pick up tube is unlike many of their competitors, as it is positioned forward in the pan, directly behind a baffle. This means that during any braking situations, the oil is kept in the area where the pickup is located, and no oil starvation issues occur.
Not only did they bring a new Chevrolet product to SEMA, but you Mopar guys have something to be happy about as well. Ken said, “We introduced our new big-block and Hemi windage tray that fits both center and rear sump oil pans.”
Finally, they have updated their Pro Touring line of oil pans, so now they have just about everyone covered when it comes to oil pan needs. For more information, check out www.milodon.com for everything you need to control your engine’s oil flow.
