Autoworks International, the maker of the famous Obsidian SG1 Mustang, has been making some serious waves in 2008 as they’ve expanded their business operations to include really incredible projects! These guys can truly build and design just about any Ford or Mustang into anything you want, from a basic bolt-on cruiser to a full wild race car.
The team is lead by Matt Couper and his right-hand man Richard Dolan, and we recently got a press release fromAutoworks announcing their first televised build entitled The Mustang Mystique which is airing this weekend on the Speed Channel on the popular showĀ Chop Cut Rebuild. The car being featured is the Autoworks Phantom DSC II, which is a build up of aĀ Dynacorn classic Mustang body, similar to the vehicle our sister website profiled built by Classic Design Concepts.
“Jim C. of Dynacorn Classic Bodies hand picked Autoworks International to build one of the first Mustangs using the brand new ’67 fastback body shells,” explained Autoworks.
