SEMA 2015: Classic Instruments Brings Out Cool New Products

classicinstruments07Classic Instruments is well known for its line of instruments and gauge packages, but some of its products really bring the gearhead back to the classics with modern technology and retro looks.

classicinstruments01One retro-product that reminded us of yesteryear was the Rocket Tach, a new half-sweep tachometer that includes a rich black face and a changing rocket booster that matches your engine speed when you’re up into the higher RPM range. Designed for eight-cylinder applications, it can be custom-ordered to customer specifications.

If you’re simply looking for a smaller tachometer, the new two-inch tachometers are available in several designs and fit into a compact area, yet still provide big results. Fitting into a 2 1/8-inch hole, the tachometers have push-button calibration and LED lighting for the best in night viewing, with an integrated red shift light that illuminates the entire gauge.

Do you want the benefit of a six-pack of gauges but your dash real estate is keeping you to a speedometer and not much else? Classic Instruments’ new 6-Pack universal fit gauge package will help fill that void in readings when there’s no void in space. Featuring six gauges in one cluster, this retro-looking dual-layer design is available with a polished stainless steel or satin black bezel with bright LED lighting and a built-in dimmer. Mounted in a 5 3/4-inch hole, it provides all the information that you would expect from a six-pack of gauges.

classicinstruments04Another area of special interest to hot rodders and custom car builders is the tube-style fuel sending unit that allows installation in tanks from six to 36 inches in depth, with all of the popular ohm range applications. The sending unit utilizes a standard SAE five-hole mounting flange and includes necessary gaskets and installation hardware.

If you’ve ever experienced trouble with matching a fuel sender to a gauge, you’re in luck with Classic Instruments’ new Fuel Link sending unit module. The Fuel Link will solve ohm range mis-matches in your fuel system, and easily converts and programs the settings of your sender to many popular aftermarket gauges.

classicinstruments02Classic Instruments says that the Fuel Link will work with nearly every sender and gauge combination out there, giving you peace of mind in knowing that when it says empty, you really are empty. Check it out at the Classic Instruments website, along with all of its other new products, introduced at SEMA 2015.
