For all you 1970-74 E-Body fans, Flaming river now has an all-in-one bolt-in solution for your Challenger or ‘Cuda. “The Mopar product line is constantly evolving for us, and this year we brought out an E-Body column, and this is the best one we’ve ever offered,” said Brett Domin.

The column itself is a direct bolt-in replacement tilt steering column made from 304 stainless steel. It comes in a variety of finishes – paintable as-milled finish, black powdercoat, polished, or a custom color – and includes a billet dress-up kit with all your required accessories. A wiring harness adapter allows for easy integration with the stock harness, and even comes with a Chrysler-coded key and ignition assembly.

Adding to the direct-fit of the of the kit is the new Mopar Swivel Floor Mount. A bolt-in solution, the swivel mount allows positioning of the column where it is most comfortable for the driver, and accommodates the stock pedal system. The column also accommodates both stock and aftermarket steering wheels. “The column has our bell canister on it, so that you can fit the stock steeering wheel or our aftermarket Tuff Wheel,” Domin said.

One of Flaming River’s coolest, if not highly-publicized features, is that they are able and willing to not only custom powdercoat their products, but actually customize parts themselves. Domin explained, “We’re an American company with our parts made in America. That gives us the ability to really help our customers. We can customize parts and do a lot of different things, because everything is done right in our facility in Ohio.”
