As of press time, we have not been made aware of the prognosis on tread survival. We can only assume that it is not good. But then again, maybe some things are better left unsaid. What say you?
Now, it is not quite clear if this is a recently completed customer car or something of their own built in their speed shop. If it is, it’s a heckuva way to break it in! Their style would give a purist nightmares for months. In this video we see what is a relatively stock looking Shelby off in the distance.
We also hear an engine wound up tight and what appears to be a volcano eruption behind it. Then we see it sideways and the smoke show continues.
Before we go any further, perhaps we should insert a little back story. The first thing we notice is the license plate, K-OTIC. Not something we are used to seeing on restored Shelbys. It more resembles those plates we see on those Aussie burnout maniacs in their videos from down under. Indeed, as it turns out, these people do have some kind of an Australian connection. We are not quite sure what it is.
