Attention To Detail: Tuff Stuff Performance

Tuff Stuff Chrome Starter

Attention to detail is what creates the finished products for which Tuff Stuff Performance is well known. While A/C compressors, alternators, starters, master cylinders, water pumps and steering pumps aren’t generally seen as performance nor appearance products per say, Cleveland, Ohio-based Tuff Stuff Performance Accessories certainly thinks otherwise.

So, they’re mission is to manufacture high-quality and custom finished hot rod and custom car components for parts that are generally considered drab, boring, and just necessities. They utilize powder coating, plating, anodizing, and custom polishing to set apart your engine compartment and the vehicle as a whole.

“Our quality standards are very high, as are the expectations of our customers. Tuff Stuff Performance Accessories is a family owned business, that has been committed to producing top-shelf products for over 30 years, and we continue to improve and modernize or products and processes. We want to make every one of our customers a customer for life, so we have to earn that kind of trust in and loyalty towards our company and its products,” Frank Hurst, Tuff Stuff’s President tells us.

Backed by a one-year warranty on everything sold, Tuff Stuff is a high performance company that builds its parts in special custom finishes and colors. Among its new products are alternators for Mustangs from 1964 to 2004, in chrome, polished, black and as cast finishes; master cylinders for ’64 – ’09 Mustangs; power brake rotors for ’67 – ’70 Mustangs in chrome and black; starters for all years and applications for ’64 – ’09 in chrome, black and powdercoat; and water pumps for ’64 – ’95 in chrome, black, plated and as cast.

Check back often as Tuff Stuff is always expanding it’s line of accessories to keep you on the road longer and looking better doing so!
