For 2015 the Bluegrass Super Shifters series will head back to tracks in Kentucky and Ohio. The series will again feature two classes, S-Stick for cars running slicks and faster than 8.50 ETs in the 1/8-mile, and D-Stick for the slower cars running drag radials or street tires. There are a few changes to the schedule this year, including taking the series to five different tracks.

Bluegrass Super Shifters races are open to anyone with a standard manually operated stick shift transmission to compete. There’s a complete list of rules, but they’re similar to most street car type stick shift class rules. No mechanical aides for shifting or clutch engagement. The complete rules are posted on the BGSS Facebook page.
We’ll likely head out to a few BGSS races this season, and cover some the action. We may even have to participate with Project 5-Liter Eater. We’ll bring you coverage from a few select BGSS races right here when they happen.
