Craigslist Find: LS6 V8 Swapped Mazda Miata Racecar

Test text.Ahh, Craigslist. Sometimes, you can find some really cool and rare stuff on there. But most of the time, you’ll have to look through a bunch of junk, repeat posts, and awkwardly-written spam ads first before you find something worthwhile.

While we were browsing Craigslist today, we came across a pretty good deal on a first generation Mazda Miata with a LS6 crate engine swapped into it, turned racecar. The seller is asking $25,000 – and with everything that’s been upgraded on this Miata, we gotta say, we definitely think the asking price is justified. We’ll drop some information from the ad below, and you can let us know in the comments section what you think.

  • LS6 crate motor
  • Y-body style accessories: water pump, alternator, and tensioner
  • Ported AFR 205 heads, upgraded dual springs, and ARP head studs
  • 231/234 comp cam – under 600 lift
  • Headers01414_fK2ChfQOFDm_600x450GR

This car appears ready to take on a track day or the autocross, provided your right foot can be light enough on the throttle to keep things under control. Who are we kidding, this thing has to be chock full of tire shredding insanity, and that’s just how we like it.
