The General Lee was always finding its way into trouble with Bo and Luke Duke behind the wheel in The Dukes of Hazzard. While the these antics were all in good fun for the Duke boys, one man has found himself in some serious trouble for what he pulled in his General Lee Charger last week, according to Jalopnik. While this is real life and The Dukes of Hazzard was fictional, we can’t help but wonder where Daisy was in all of this.

The unnamed driver of the bright orange Charger was clocked by Houston, Texas police going 110mph around 3 a.m. on Friday January 6th. When officers tried to pull him over, he refused to stop and led police on a high-speed chase, exceeding speeds of 120mph in some areas. Police lost sight of the car when it turned into an apartment complex, but the driver wasn’t able to evade police for long .

When police searched the apartment complex’s parking lot, they found the car and used the license plate number to determine that the driver actually lived in the apartments. When police knocked on the door of the driver’s apartment, his girlfriend answered, telling officers the man was in the shower.

After being pulled from the shower, the man admitted that he had fled from police because he had marijuana in his car and didn’t want to get in trouble. The man was arrested and charges of possession of marijuana and felony evading are pending. The General Lee also got a ride down to impound.
