If Santa Clause didn’t bring you that classic C10 pickup you were hoping for, don’t worry. There’s a chance you can still find yourself one, and at this price, it’ll trump anything you find under the tree for several years to come! Plus, the Dream Giveaway group is tossing in $7,000 to cover all the taxes. Take THAT Santa!
The Dream Giveaway crew have been usurping Santa on the great-gift scale for several years. Their most recent effort is this gorgeous 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super pickup that has been painstakingly rebuilt to a condition Chevy only wished it could have produced back in the ‘70s. We told you about this truck before, but we know there’s a few of you who thought, “When I get around to it.” Well, here’s your round tuit! But, don’t delay any longer, there are only a few days left to get in on the chance at this sweet deal!
A tasty mixture of old and new, this classic still carries all the vintage vibe that makes the ’67 through ’72 C10 trucks so cool. But, it also includes some modern modifications where they do the most good. No one would argue that more power is always a good place to start, and this truck has it in spades.
A 6.2-liter engine has been bored and stroked to 6.8 of the metric measuring cups and now pushes 413 horsepower at will. Don’t worry though, there’s enough Chevy Orange in the form of those classic-looking Chevrolet-script valve covers and block to help keep the vintage vibe alive.
Other upgrades include a GM 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, a full air-ride suspension operating a Porterbuilt Fabrication’s extreme-drop member and four-link rear suspension. Classic Performance Products spindles hold the Wilwood brakes at bay under those 22-inch Schott wheels covered with Diamondback Redline tires.
The interior has been upgraded with Dakota Digital VHX gauges and Vintage Air climate control and draped in the coolest blend of modern black and red vinyl with plaid inserts in the seats. There’s a Billet Specialties wheel, as well as other interior accents. As if the flawless black paint is enough to make you question ever hauling anything, the bed has also been gussied up with a bamboo liner since the original wood flooring was too utilitarian for a hauler of this level.
