If you’re looking for a traditional hot rod, kustom car & truck, and bike show in the midwest, Gearhead Invasion is a must-attend event. Just around the corner, the show will be taking place on Saturday, September 13th at Shady Jacks located at 1432 North Broadway Street, St. Louis, Missouri.
Pre ’65 cars and trucks are welcome to display and bikes of all years are welcome to the event. There will be a $5.00 donation at the gate and considering the amount of work that the folks have gone through for the past four years bringing the community this gig, it’s definitely a small price to pay. Many say it and we agree, support those who support the culture!
According to a post from the event coordinators, “We are having a pre-party at the Demo here in St. Louis the evening before the Gearhead Invasion. So mark down that you are busy the evening of September 12th to party with us and some revved up rockabilly by The Chop Tops from Santa Cruz, California.”
Last year the show was held at Gateway Harley-Davidson, but this year’s new location, Shady Jack’s Saloon will provide an atmosphere fit for a day of partying, talking shop, and mingling all to the tune of great music, great food & drink, and traditional rides that are sure to inspire.
For daily updates leading up to the show and full event details head over to Gearhead Invasion’s Facebook page to stay up to date. If you have any questions pertaining to registration, directions, or anything else event related you can give one of the coordinators, Korky Hickman, a call at (951) 704-3967.
