This year will be the 49th time the Los Angeles Roadsters Car Club has produced its world-famous show and the 34th year it will be held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. Up to 2,000 cars are estimated to be present, as well as a giant swap meet, and a commercial vendor midway. And by popular demand the Cacklefest is returning in 2013 and will fire up on Saturday at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm in the Specialty Parking area.
There’s something for everyone at the L.A. Roadster Show. Late model enthusiasts can haggle with the swappers and shop the manufacturers for the parts they have been looking for; and those on the hunt for early car parts, or restoring antiques or building that special new car can also find many sources.
This show has long been known as the West coast’s largest automotive consumer trade show, at which more than 200 manufacturers and vendors of reproduction hot rod parts and accessories have their own special section outside and in Exhibitor Building #4.
The Los Angeles Roadsters are well know for their beautiful roadsters as well as their Club uniform of red shirts and white pants. This uniform has been a tradition since the Club started. To see some the roadsters in the club go to this link.
The Club started the now famous Los Angeles Roadster Show and Swap Meet in 1960. A Father’s Day tradition for car enthusiasts from around the world, the show has earned its reputation as “the greatest roadster show on earth.” For more information go to www.laroadsters.com.
