People have been coming to the National Corvette Museum (NCM) for decades to look at some of the most memorable Corvettes on the planet. Now, thanks to the NCM’s Corvette Ride program, attendees can make their own memories by taking a ride in several of the Corvettes on-hand at the museum designated for that purpose. Starting in the month of March with the signs of spring in the air, the NCM began offering rides to attendees, allowing them to experience all that the nearby Kentucky landscape has to offer.
Through the NCM’s Corvette Ride program, attendees can choose between a selection of museum-owned Corvettes to take a three-mile ride around the hills of nearby Bowling Green, Kentucky. There are both a coupe and two drop-top versions available for the ride, so you’ll be able to take in all the sights, sounds and smells as you weave your way around the Kentucky hillside. The ride takes anywhere from 13-15 minutes and attendees currently have a choice to ride in either a 1966 Rally Red Corvette convertible, powered by the famed 327 ci engine, a 1979 Corvette Coupe or the more modern 2003 50th Anniversary edition convertible.
Attendees can simply sign up for the additional program when they check-in to the NCM at the admissions counter. The cost for the ride along is $20 and you’ll be able to schedule your ride at that time. Offered weekdays between 10 AM (Central-Time) and 3 PM, the Corvette Ride program allows you take in the entire Corvette experience.
Times and Corvettes may vary, so be sure to check in with the folks at the NCM admissions counter for exact availability. Then, you’ll be able to enjoy the world from the inside of any one of three vintage Corvettes! This is a great way to re-live memories of past Corvettes you’ve owned or to make new ones for aspiring Corvette enthusiasts. Either way, the Corvette Ride program is sure to make your visit to the NCM an unforgettable one.
