The Roadster Shop has announced the release of their RS4R full IFS, 4WD chassis with triangulated trailing arm rear for the 1966-77 Ford Bronco.
Designed from scratch using state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology and The Roadster Shop’s in-house engineering they have created a truly one of a kind package. Offering 12-inches of travel in the front and 13-inches in the rear, the Shop created this chassis with the smaller body of the Bronco in mind.
Dual rate springs with 2.5-inch twin tube bypass shocks and 2.5-inch coilovers optimize ride quality and performance. This chassis is configured to accept Coyote/6R80 or LS/4L80 engines along with an Atlas 2 speed transfer case. The RS4R chassis allows the use of up to 285 series tires on 17-inch wheels on all four corners without the need for fender modifications.
Other features include RS4R Independent Front Suspension with fabricated upper and lower control arms for a 56-inch track width, CNC Laser cut and contoured box tube main rails, GM 6 X 5.5-inch sealed hub assembly, CNC Laser cut and contoured box tube main rails, engine mounts for GM LS based or Ford Coyote, structural center crossmember with transmission and transfer case mounts, heavy wall triangulated trailing arm rear suspension, High 9 PRO Iron Tru Track front and rear differentials, 4140 chromoly machined spindles with 300m axle shafts and 934 CV’s .
