We remember when paddle shifters only came on F1 cars and video games.  Now that technology has continued to evolve, it has trickled more and more into the street car market in the last decade.  Hurst has designed these new, trick-looking paddle shifters for both late-model Camaro and Chrysler applications.

The Camaro already comes with a paddle shifter on the automatics, but the buttons on the back of the steering wheel aren’t the easiest to get to.  The aluminum paddles are offered in brushed or black finish and are a direct replacement for the buttons.  Now when it comes to driving aggressive, it’s much easier to hit the race-inspired paddles than fooling around with the back of the steering wheel.

The Chrysler paddle shifters cover the 300C, Challenger, Charger and Magnum.  Now, these vehicles don’t have a paddle shifter and uses a autostick option at the gear selector.  Hurst has designed a system that plugs into the factory electronics and emits an RF signal that is then picked up by the new paddle shifters that are installed on the back of the steering wheel.

For you 2011+ Mustang owners that are asking “Where do we get one?” Don’t worry, Hurst is working on that application as well.
