It’s obnoxiously loud. If you’re out on the road with it and you’re doing stupid things, it’s going to get you in trouble, because it’ll certainly get some attention.
The new Metal Mulisha exhaust, slated for arrival on the market right around the first of the new year, is a cat-back exhaust system that carries the signature name of Freestyle Motocross star and X Games Gold Medalist Brian Deegan and his Metal Mulisha clothing line brand, for a complete arsenal of exhaust systems and exhaust tips.
This stainless steel, made in the USA system is designed to deliver an incredible amount of sound for pickup trucks from Chevrolet/GMC, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, and Fords, such as the Deegan-owned F-150 SVT Raptor pickup displayed in the Gibson booth.
“We designed this system for the 16 to 20 year olds out there, who still live at home and don’t have a mortgage yet and want and can afford an extremely loud, aggressive exhaust system like this on their trucks,” said Shawn Gibson.
So, how loud is the new Metal Mulisha exhaust system, exactly?
“It’s obnoxiously loud. If you’re out on the road with it and you’re doing stupid things, it’s going to get you in trouble, because it’ll certainly get some attention,” says Gibson. “We may actually have to tone it down some.”
