Chris Mills from DW explains what’s new for the 2015/2016 year, and what we can expect from the company. “These injectors are available for the EcoBoost platform. That includes the 2.0-liter, 2.3-liter, and the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engines. The injectors provide up to 30 percent more fuel flow, and the package includes a tuning calibration data. They have really proven themselves, as we have a set in a 10s capable EcoBoost powered drag racing car.”
Features of DW’s new EcoBoost injectors include:
- Increased flow by 30 percent over factory injectors with new 1,700 cc per minute size injectors at 100 bar
- Plug-and-play fitment for the EcoBoost Mustang, Focus ST/RS, F-150, and Taurus SHO
- OEM spray pattern design retains factory ignition, fuel economy, and drivability characteristics
- Custom tuning calibration provided by SCT Flash and developed with collaboration with DeatschWerks
- Street-tested with thousands of miles logged on each EcoBoost application
- Bench- and dyno-tested to support higher-than-stock horsepower levels
- Track proven by BG Racing‘s 10s EcoBoost-powered Mustang
