Thanks to Speedtech Performance, you do have an upgrade at your disposal – solid aluminum body mounts. These bushings are CAD designed and CNC machined in-house to exacting tolerances. The material used is T6061 T6 aluminum. Once machined, the bushings are then anodized black. This kit also includes all grade-8 hardware needed for installation.

The factory rubber mounts did a great job of isolating the body from any road imperfections that could hinder ride quality, but today’s enthusiast wants a car that handles much better that it did when new Speedtech’s solid bushings provide a more rigid feel to your classic car, they are more durable and won’t deteriorate like factory rubber. Although a Poly bushing can offer an upgrade over the factory rubber, the aluminum bushings will not squeak like polyurethane bushings.
