The kit includes all the hard parts necessary for the experienced professional to convert their very own 3-speed TH400 to a 2-speed, insanely high horsepower drag racing transmission.

Each HP2205 Kit Includes: 

• (1) x HP2215X2 2-speed billet aluminum Pro Tree transbrake valve body with Powerglide shift pattern (P-R-N-2-1)… this transbrake will cut a .000 light!!
• (1) x HP2226 nitride-treated 4140 forged steel forward clutch hub with roller bearings
• (1) x HP2233 H-11 billet tool steel intermediate shaft
• (1) x HP2234A hard anodized billet aluminum direct drum with steel bore for sealing rings, Pro Mod 36-element intermediate sprag, and heat treated steel sprag races
• (1) x HP2236M 300M billet solid steel 30-spline input shaft with GM forward drum broached for oversize input drum spline
• (1) x HP2260 billet aluminum intermediate clutch pack eliminator insert

Officially, Hughes Performance rates the HP2205 Kit for up to 2,000 flywheel horsepower when used with good condition GM planetary gear sets, which will provide a 1.48:1 low gear ratio. For even higher power levels, it can be coupled with premium billet gear sets that have allowed this setup to be proven deep into the 4-second 1/8-mile E.T. range.
