Official Release:

UMI Performance, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of our new factory height spring kit for 1964-1972 GM A-Body applications. These springs are designed to add modern handling and a crisp ride while maintaining the factory musclecar appearance. Our front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 530 lb/in rate. The rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 130 lb/in rate. The linear rate provides consistent handling characteristics which are important for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications while the increase in stiffness reduces body roll and prevents the “floating” feeling so common with the A-body. The ride height is engineered to be level with standard SBC, Pontiac 400 and aluminum head/intake Big Block Chevy as well as LS power (lightened cars may require spring trimming). They have a tough, black powder coat finish and UMI proudly manufactures these premium quality springs in the USA.

Features:

  • Designed to maintain the factory muscle car appearance with today’s modern feel
  • Consistent rates and only the best materials (premium Chrome Silicon wire) ensure your cars sits properly for years to come
  • Linear spring rate provides a firm yet comfortable ride and incredible handling
  • No more floating feeling
  • Suitable for Pro-Tour, Auto-x and general cruising
  • Manufactured in the USA

Bridgett Davis

Growing up in Greenwood, Indiana a short distance from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my dad would take me to local car shows and events. Through this I gained my passion. Along with cars, I have always loved photography, writing, and graphic arts. However when attending college I did not pursue my passions. I played it safe and majored in business and marketing. After a few years in this field I determined this was not for me and began to pursue a writing and photography career. Landing me here with Power Automedia. I am also now the business owner of Bridgett's Toxic Creations. Specializing in automobile showboards, custom license plates, logos, and website headers. Living and breathing the Mustang life everyday in everyway. To be able to work in my field of passion is amazing and fun experience everyday. The best part is sharing a common passion with others.
