In 2000, Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie starred in a remake of the car theft thriller, Gone In 60 Seconds. The new movie also starred a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang with a custom body kit known to the criminals simply as “Eleanor”. Eleanor was the car that was supposedly impossible to steal, and due to the epic high-speed chase at the end of the movie, the production company company produced either 11 or 15 of these vehicles (depending on who you ask).

This next video claims to star one of the original Eleanor Shelbys from the Gone In 60 Seconds remake. While we have no way to verify that, this is a very well-shot video worth checking out, and as a bonus it takes place in the birthplace of democracy, Greece.

While Greece has certainly seen better days, this Eleanor Shelby still looks as gorgeous as the day it was put together. It could very well be one of the hundreds of replicas that are sold every year, but regardless, this is an incredible looking ride. It is no wonder that the Eleanor Shelby gained such broad popularity after the movie remake came out.

The video, just over 90 seconds long, features an up-close look at Eleanor, including her sexy side-exhaust pipes, which give off the seductive growl that we’ve all come to know and love. If you stick around long enough, Eleanor even dusts off her tires with a brief burnout under the setting Greek sun. A gorgeous car in a gorgeous country…does it get any better than this?
