Vengeance by any other name would be just as brutal and unpleasant, but there is nothing disagreeable about the Garage Zero-built beast that shares the same name. Boisterous, unrestrained and downright sick, this car is tops when it comes to modified classic muscle. Check her out in all her Streetfighter glory in the video above.
Last year we fell in love with Vengeance, the LS7-weilding 1967 Camaro owned by graffiti artist Amir Totem. Built to be anything but a flashy trailer queen, Vengeance not only looks mean, she also sounds and acts the part. One look at her and she may appear to be a bully compared to your restored classic Camaro-types, but we just can’t get enough of her hardened style.
To give her a true chance in this tough world, Vengeance was built atop an Art Morrison frame. To be a bad ass, you’ve got to look the part, so she was then clothed with features like shaved drip rails, a hand fabricated grill, shaved body seams, a molded rear bumper, lengthened 2-inch cowl hood, and squared off fender wells. Not conforming to the traditional approach to paint, Vengeance was skinned in a lackluster, flat black paint job. Besides, clear coats are overrated.
If you’re going to walk the walk, you better be able to talk the talk and that’s exactly what Vengeance does.
Backing her LS7 powerhouse is a whole slew of performance parts meant to make the car nearly indestructible, from a 12-bolt Moser Posi-traction rearend with 3.83 gears and Wilwood brakes, to an RPM-built T56 transmission and custom 19-inch NewGen wheels.
Vengeance may have been around for awhile, but she’s certainly not going to fade into the background easily. With more and more pictures being released of the car, there’s no telling where she might pop up next.
