Summit Racing Introduces Powertrax Grip Lok Differentials

New from Summit Racing – the Grip Lok differentials that combine the action of a traditional locker with a fully machined forged steel case. This makes it one of the strongest differentials you can buy. See more details below.

Official Release:

It’s tough to beat a locking differential when it comes to full, I need-it-now traction. A locker effectively ties the two driven wheels together so both get equal amounts of engine torque. Unlike a spool, a locker is streetable—it disengages when you make a turn. And when one wheel loses traction, a locking differential delivers power to the wheel with the highest amount of traction.

Powertrax Grip Lok differentials combine the action of a traditional locker with a fully machined forged steel case, making it one of the strongest differentials you can buy. The Grip Lok is all mechanical and works automatically—no clutches to wear out, no switches to activate, and no wheel slippage.

Powertrax is so confident the Grip Lok can take whatever you can throw at it, they back it with a one year, 100,000 mile limited warranty. Powertrax says you must use an 80W-90 weight, petroleum-based gear oil with a GL-5 (or higher) rating, and that friction additives/modifiers should not be used.

Features:

  • Combines the action of a traditional locker with a fully machined forged steel case
  • One of the strongest differentials you can buy
  • One year 100,000 mile limited warranty
