Goodguys’ 32nd West Coast Nats Are Almost Here. Are You Ready?

The Goodguys West Coast Nationals – Presented by BASF – is one of the longest running events on the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association schedule, and is set to take center stage for its 32nd year at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton August 24-26. Festivities for registered participants kick-off on Monday 8/20 with Hot Rod Week – four days of guided tours in and around the Bay Area, visiting automotive collections, rod shops, and other interesting places!

The West Coast Nationals brings together more than 3,000 hot rods, street rods, customs, muscle cars, and trucks through 1972, for three action-packed days of American automotive greatness. This truly is another “must attend” event on the annual Goodguys schedule.

While at the West Coast Nationals, fans will get a close-up look at the crowning of the Goodguys 2018 America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod, presented by BASF. This award is part of the Top-12 awards for the 2018 event season, and the winner will be selected on Saturday morning from the Builder’s Choice Area at the event. To be eligible for this award, the vehicle must be a 1948 or older vintage.
