Pony Wars Camaro And Challenger Go To Global Auto Salon

The international car market has been constantly expanding over the years and the Riyadh Car Show was created to expose brands to audiences from around the world. The show will be taking place this week from Nov. 21-26 at the Janadriyah Cultural and Heritage Festival grounds in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Industry experts and celebrities such as Vaugn Gittin Jr. from Formula Drift, Richard Rawlings from Fast N’ Loud, Ryan Friedlinghaus from West Coast Customs, and the Hoonigan crew, and many others will also be making appearances throughout the event.

The Global Auto Salon (GAS) will be one area of the show that will feature world-class vehicles from hot rods, to sports compacts, exotics, and everything in between. The salon will showcase vendors with vehicles on display and for sale. In addition to the vehicles on display, attendees will have access to new product exhibits, live demos such as autocross, a live auction of over 400 unique vehicles, and even the opportunity to take one of the Pony Wars vehicles home with them.

That’s right, both the Dodge Challenger and the Chevrolet Camaro from the lastest season of Pony Wars will be up for sale at GAS this year.

Since we last saw the Camaro, Vengeance Racing has added a plug-and-play port injection system by Crawford Racing, installed a Circle D torque converter in place of the OEM unit, and has tuned the vehicle on E85. Most recently, the Camaro ran a new personal best time of 9.53 at 144mph. You can find the team and their Camaro at the Vengeance Racing booth.

Arrington Performance will be displaying the Challenger at their booth where they will be meeting and greeting attendees throughout the event. Since Pony Wars, the only change to the Challenger has been an upgraded intake manifold.

Big-name brands like General Motors, Roush, and Magnaflow will be in attendance. Some even skipped SEMA in order to prepare for the event. With over a quarter-million expected attendees, 450 cars, and 250 exhibitors the Riyadh Car Show has the makings to dramatically influence the international automotive market.
