Hurry! Auction Ends July 10th On This 1970 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV

As you may already know Barrett- Jackson has been hosting online only auctions amidst this pandemic COVID-19 crisis we are all going through. You can register for online bidding here. While this one is almost over (so hurry up and check it out) we wanted to take a moment and feature one amazing car. The Lot# we’re talking about today is #134. There sure is something to be said about American muscle, and this car is definitely American muscle. 1970 was prime time for General Motors muscle cars and this GTO proves it. Pontiac launched the Judge package in 1969 and carried it over to 1970.

This is a beauty for sure. 1 of only 325 Ram Air IVs with a 4-speed manual transmission produced in 1970. It was originally sold at Victor Motors in Birgham, UT, and spent most of its life there. With only 64,198 original miles it still has its original sheet metal and the Polar White paint is pristine and show ready. The interior is nothing short of amazing itself. Featuring those Legendary bright red bucket-seats, factory thick Formula steering wheel, Hurst T-handle shifter, and full Rally gauge pack with tachometer, it is definitely a sight to behold.

Now here is what we love about these cars. The power! This car gets its power from the WW code Ram Air IV 400ci V8 engine. Paired perfectly with a Muncie 4-speed close-ratio manual and 3.90 Safe T-Track HD rear end. To top everything off this car has a highly detailed undercarriage that is complemented by a Gardner exhaust and polished U.S. stainless steel gas tank. It will also come with PHS paperwork, original owner’s manual with guidebook, and Pontiac sales brochure and Pontiac performance sales brochure for the GTO Ram Air IV.

Complete with both the Judge trim package and the fixings for the Ram IV this rare beauty is not only show-ready- it is race-ready, too.
