Fight fans recognize the term “Toe the Line” as an expression of someone willing to accept the authority, principles, or policies of a particular group. This can be said of Tamraz’s Parts Discount Warehouse, whose story is one of a struggling start-up that became a leader in the market by toeing the line.
Marc Tamraz started the company from an apartment garage in Chicago, Illinois, with nothing more than a phone number and a catalog of Pontiac parts, Marc grew the company into a major brand in the automotive restoration parts industry.
Guiding the organization through some tough times, the business helped ensure the hobby would survive for auto enthusiasts worldwide. The company thrived on the moto “True Classics Never Retire.”
Most recognize the company as a leader in GM-related parts since the 1990s, but their portfolio has grown to cover Mopar, Mustangs, and the other “true classics.”
Let Us Help
Whenever we reach out to company representatives, we hear the same request. “If enthusiasts are working on projects and want some assistance, give us a call and we can help them find whatever they are looking for.” A simple request but one you would expect from a company that toes the line.
Tamraz’s Parts Warehouse carries a full line of sheet metal, interior replacements, and hard to find parts for every part of classic cars. Company spokesmen tell us they can “beat all competitors’ pricing,” and all you have to do is bring the competitor’s ad.
Marc Tamarz moved the company to North Naperville, Illinois, in 2017 to a 50,000 square foot warehouse, where the company still operates today. Sadly, company founder Marc Tamraz passed away unexpectedly on December 8th of 2018, but the family-operated company has continued operating under the same guiding principles that made them leaders in the field.
