Livernois Motorsports and Engineering have built their reputation on handling a wide range of power solutions like handheld tuners, cold air intakes, exhaust systems, cooling system components, and every engine component a modern muscle car fan could want.
Word around the industry has always been that Livernois provides a lot of third-party testing for automobile manufacturers. We’d be hard-pressed to prove or disprove that, but way back in 2013, the Livernois crew pulled back the curtains and gave everyone a peek into their facility.
What we were treated to was a fast-paced, high-energy video that attempted to showcase the engine build facility, a cutting edge machine shop, and an entire shop where vehicles of all types were being upgraded in one fashion or another.
As one astute viewer pointed out, the Livernois video team also had a sense of awareness as the music changed to fit the video being shown at the time. For example, when the video moved to the machine shop where heads were being machined, Bush’s song Machinehead was playing in the background.
Another song used in the video played homage to Livernois’ super-secret third-party testing with Destroy the Obvious by Evans Blue. It is those little easter eggs that made this shop tour video one of our favorites and we can hardly wait for the next time the team pulls back the curtains for another visit.
