The New Dodge Durango Hellcat 2021 Orders Full Already

Dodge is always upping the bar when they decide to roll out a new vehicle. The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is no different.  Once Dodge announced production of it and opened up preorders the orders just came rolling in. They opened orders in November and were officially sold out by the end of January. Dodge is only producing 2,000 of these 2021 Durango SRT Hellcats. Don’t worry though. If you missed out on the preordering you may still be lucky. There have been a small number of dealer-allocated units that will be available for a limited time.

This will be one of the most sought after SUVs from Dodge. The Dodge Durango is coming out of a very successful 2020 year, and already the 2021 Durango has already been crowned the SUV of Texas, as well as, Full-size SUV of Texas for the sixth time now by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). They will only have a single model-year run. Meaning they will only be produced during 2021. Not only that, but this one will be the most powerful SUV ever produced from Dodge. It has a starting U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $80,995 (excluding $1,495 destination charge).

We all know Hellcat is synonymous with power. That means that the Durango SRT Hellcat will be the most powerful SUV ever! This impressive SUV is delivering 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque from a proven supercharged 6.2L HEMI Hellcat V8 engine. This engine is being paired with the quick shifting TorqueFlite 8HP95 eight-speed automatic transmission. Ready to be even more impressed? This SUV has a 0-60 mph time of only 3.5 seconds! According to the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) it has a quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph.

No other SUV in the world can tow more or carry more while still maintaining one of the highest quarter-mile times than the Durango SRT Hellcat. This vehicle by far has the best in-classing towing capacity across the lineup. The supercharged 6.2L HEMI Hellcat V8, the legendary 395-cubic inch HEMI V8, and the classic 5.7L HEMI with the Tow N Go Package can outhaul every full size, three-row SUV on the road. And it has a towing capacity of 8,700 lbs. The award winning Pentastar V6 engine only has a towing capability of 6,200 lbs.
