More Showcases Coming To The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in 2023

The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is using last year’s record car show count of over 3,000 Mopar vehicles as a springboard to grow the 2023 show even more. When you roll through the gates of the Carlisle Fairgrounds July 14-16, you can check out the new 50 Years of 1973 Mopars, High School Mopars, and Malaise Era Mopars displays. Each of these displays will have a unique feel and will attract plenty of top-tier vehicles.

The High School Mopars display is going to be a blast from the past for both participants and show attendees. Steve Leber came up with the idea for this display and pitched it to Event Manager, Ed Buczeskie. The concept of a display that’s filled with cars the owners drove to high school really struck a chord with Buczeskie, so he added it to the 2023 show.

If you’re a fan of Mopars from 1973, the 50 Years of 1973 Mopars display will need to be one of your stops at the 2023 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. This display will feature a wide variety of Mopars from 1973 that will all have a great story behind them. You can expect to see original, restored, and modified 1973 Mopars in this display, so it will have something for everyone.

The Malaise Mopars will get some serious love at the 2023 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals inside their own showcase. You’ll be able to see classics from the mid-70s, through the mid-80s that will include the Volare/Aspen, Magnum, Cordoba, and Mirada body-style vehicles. There will be a large assortment of these vehicles on display, including some fairly rare rides.

The 2023 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals will also feature a display of nostalgia race cars that will include three of the “Color Me Gone” cars that belonged to the late Roger Lindamood.
