Rad New Billet LT Valve Covers from Rad Rides by Troy

For those who appreciate the finer things in life, such as GM’s LT engines, there’s pride in making sure every detail is refined to perfection. Crafted by the master metal artists at Rad Rides by Troy, these rad new billet aluminum LT valve covers add the right amount of show car style and proven functionality.

Troy Trepanier established his famed custom car workshop in 1995 along with his son, Jack Trepanier, as a family endeavor. Over the past three decades, the Illinois-based business has produced everything from award-winning, iconic show cars to record-setting land speed machines, and has grown to become one of America’s most respected automotive builders.

Now, Jack has stepped up to take his rightful position in the next generation of industry innovators by spearheading the development of Rad Rides’ billet valve covers for the LT1, LT4, and LT5 engines.

Designed and engineered fully in-house at Rad Rides, Jack, and the team made functionality their top priority. The engineering group carefully studied the OEM LT engine valve covers inside and out and crafted an aftermarket upgrade that blends performance and a unique appearance.

Machined from CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum to ensure flawless fitment, the LT valve covers were first conceptualized using state-of-the-art SolidWorks design software. To work in harmony with the LT’s critical PVC system, each set of valve covers features a precision laser-cut and stamped stainless steel internal baffle to control air and oil.

Real-world testing on Rad Rides’ multiple project cars, including Rydell’s 1941 Fleetline and Rydell’s Cadillac Limo, have racked up roughly 60,000 miles with zero issues.

A perfect fit for the Gen V small block Chevy engine, Rad Rides’ LT valve covers include a matching aftermarket and polished O-ringed billet oil fill cap, 21 ARP bolts, and use stock GM valve cover gaskets. Additional accommodations have been made to incorporate the LT’s critical PVC system, as Rad Rides has also integrated two threaded ports.

Each set of billet aluminum LT valve covers from Rad Rides by Troy comes polished to a high shine. Builders can choose to keep the natural finish intact or opt to add a different coating to complement their project’s specific style.

LT1, LT4, and LT5 owners who want to upgrade their build’s engine bay with top-of-the-line CNC-machined billet valve covers can do so by purchasing a set from Rad Rides by Troy online at www.RadRides.com or by calling (815) 468-2590.
