From ABC affiliate Channel 7 WXYZ in Ann Arbor, Michigan, comes this awesome story of how two parents made their son’s dream come true. During his deployment in Afghanistan, 19-year-old Private First Class, Aaron Delarosa had told his father, about how much he would love to have a new Dodge Challenger and how it was his dream car when they talked on the phone.

Ross Delarosa and his wife suprised their son, Aaron Delarosa, at the airport with his dream car - a new Dodge Challenger.
However, while he was still on deployment in Afghanistan, Delarosa’s parents decided to make it their mission to turn their son’s dream into a reality. They tell reporters from WXYZ that they scoured dealerships and for sale ads for just the right Challenger, and they finally found one like their son had told them about. “For 200 miles, this was the only one that had really everything he was looking for on it…We figured it wouldn’t be there too long so my wife and I went out there and did what we could for him.”

When he arrived back in the states last week on leave, Delarosa’s parents surprised him at the airport with the brand new Challenger draped in American flags to celebrate his homecoming. Delarosa tells reporters from WXYZ, “I love this car. I’ve been driving it non-stop.” Delarosa is currently still on leave, and will definitely be taking the car back to base with him.
