Just like KIPP is remembered for Knight Rider and the ‘78 Special Edition Trans Am is remembered for its leading roll in Smokey and the Bandit, the DeLorean DMC-12 has been an icon in the movie car world since its debut in the 1985 hit film Back to the Future.

It is this memorable roll that will be highlighted once again on the big screen in Seattle, Washington next weekend when the SIFF theater holds an encore one-weekend-only screening of the classic Sci Fi film. And as we found out from Autoholics, the event promises to be spectacular with a procession of a couple dozen DeLoreans thanks to the Pacific Northwest DeLorean Club.

If you’re a fan of the Back to the Future movie franchise, or even a DeLorean enthusiast, the special Seattle screening of the original movie promises to be an event not to miss.

Not only will Back to the Future be back on the big screen, the event will also have a question and answer session with Lea Thompson, who played Lorraine Baines McFly in the feature film, a costume contest, and a parade of two dozen DeLoreans to kick things off.

The special event will take place at the SIFF Cinema Uptown theater in Seattle Saturday March 31st at 9p.m. in connection with the Emerald City Comicon event. There has also been an additional showing added for Friday March 30th at 11p.m. Although Thompson will not be at Friday’s event, the fleet of DeLoreans will be on sight for pictures and browsing both days.

If you live in the Seattle area, don’t miss your chance to see the special Back to the Future showing and the amazing procession of two dozen iconic DeLoreans all for one event.
