The Dirty Dozen To Arrive At Goodguys’ Southwest Nationals

Though we renamed them the “Dirty Dozen,” these vehicles are anything but. In fact, they are the definition of the complete opposite…so, yeah. We really don’t know what we were thinking. Anyways, the Goodguys events are packed full of entertainment. There really isn’t anything left unturned and nearly every month Goodguys has got something in your area for the whole family to experience. Again, this year at the Southwest Nationals, Goodguys is proud to present the 2011 “Terrific 12” awards.

These special awards recognize the nation’s finest cars and trucks. A Terrific 12 award is the highest honor Goodguys offers to recognize automotive excellence. What’s more, all 2011 Terrific 12 award winners will be displayed together as a group inside the “Champions Arena” presented by the Street Rod Headquarters at the 14th Southwest Nationals November 18-20 in Scottsdale, Arizona. There really isn’t a better opportunity to see some of America’s finest!

Selection Process:

If you’re unfamiliar with the selection process, the first group, consisting of the Street Rod of the Year, Street Machine of the Year, Hot Rod of the Year, Street Rod d’ Elegance, America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod and the West Coast Custom of the Year will be selected at their traditional events. For these awards, the selection committee will be made up of industry experts and Goodguys Staff members.

Each member of the selection committee places his picks in order of preference. First choice will receive 5 points, second choice 4 points and so on. The winner is then determined by whoever receives the most total points. In the case of a tie, all committee members recast their votes for the two entrants involved in the tie.

Winners

Winners not only get bragging rights all year long, but each winner will receive a custom Snap-on toolbox wrapped with images of their vehicle–Awesome!
