All Mopars. All weekend. The annual celebration of all things Chrysler is fast approaching, as the Pennsylvania town of Carlisle prepares for an invasion of more than 2,100 enthusiast vehicles and their occupants. The Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals is open to all Mopar, Jeep, and AMC owners and their rides.

Aside from the enormous show field, you’ll find indoor specialty displays; kids’ activities; industry guests; car and engine giveaways; a swap meet; vendors and manufacturer’s midway; the car corral and NHRA drag racing.

Besides attracting Chrysler enthusiasts, the star power of the All-Chrysler Nationals is bringing in folks like John Schneider (Bo Duke from Dukes of Hazzard), Paul Le Mat (John Milner from American Graffiti) and Cindy Williams (Laurie Henderson from American Graffiti).

If you think that’s enough to get your interest, there’s a lot more to sustain it. Hang around for the Burnout contest, the engine giveaway, special displays of survivor cars, barn finds, classics and concepts. A portable dyno will be on site for those of insatiable curiosity, while a visit to Beeney Motors – a recreated 1971 Chrysler dealership – will refresh your memories or create new ones.

Off-readers will also have plenty to check out in the Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. Saturday seminars by certified 4WD trainers and a rock crawling exhibition by Extreme Off-Roaders will make the day fly by, but if you’ve got your own crawler, bring it along.

Online registration is still available for the event, but time is getting short. The Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals run from July 8 through 10th at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, PA.
